I am addicted to Mafia Wars. Its gotten so bad, all I think about at work, is how much money I’ve earned, and if anyone has tried to rob me. I think of ways to waste time while waiting for energy to refill. I even began asking my friends for their facebook passwords so i can play theirs so I can strengthen my own mafia.

Making your Character in Mafia Wars
In this post I will explain how to make a character that will level extremely quickly. There are free types of characters maniac, mogul, and fearless. Maniac characters earn energy slightly faster than the others, moguls make more money, and fearless regenerate health faster. Additionally, each of these characters has the chance to be placed in a unique position in another player’s Mafia.
So which type wins? Fearless does. It has access to the wingman job which gives you about a 5% chance to complete a job using no energy, this is way better than the very slight boost that maniac characters get. As a fearless character you will be able to earn a level before you run out of energy. When you gain a level your energy is refilled, allowing you to play for as long as you would like each day.
You should make two alternate characters and have them place the character that you want to level in the Mastermind and Wheelman positions in their top mafias. Mastermind gives you a chance to earn 150% experience, and makes chaining easier. Wheelman gives you a chance to complete a job at NO energy cost.
Some jobs are better than others - check to see which ones give you the most experience points per energy spent doing them. When you level put all of your points into energy, and you’ll be able to continue your chain. Don’t neglect your stamina points though. Be sure to get into fights at every level up because they provide you with experience as well. Your attack and defense stats won’t be so important when you have 300 or 400 mafia than who you are fighting, and you can always raise them later.
